With its ideal central location on the Adriatic coast, Zadar is the urban center of northern Dalmatia. Numerous churches and monuments from different historical periods and architectural styles, from Roman times through the Middle Ages to modern architecture, make valuable cultural heritage of the city. Around 70 of them are located in the historical old town center, and the total number includes over 600 cultural monuments in the immediate and wider surroundings of the city.

Apart with cultural monuments, Zadar will delight every visitor with its atmosphere and a multitude of events which make it one of the most interesting cities in which you can spend your holiday in Croatia. Concerts, museums, festivals, various tourist programs and numerous activities which city offers will not disappoint even the most demanding tourists.
